Adventure. What is it?

Is it reserved for the daring few who boldly jump into death-defying feats while the rest of us watch in awe from the sidelines?

Or is there an incredible adventure waiting for each of us, including the shy, the fearful, and the hesitant? How can wannabee adventurers overcome obstacles and live every day with purpose and anticipation of what lies ahead?

Ask Nancy. She’s an unlikely adventurer herself.

In her second award-winning book, Nancy’s true stories will inspire and guide you to that “something more” you have been missing. In the process, her thought-provoking questions will invite you closer to the Great Adventurer Himself, Jesus. Don’t wait another day to discover your great adventure!

Author

Nancy Beverly

Nancy Beverly is an award-winning author, international speaker, and Bible study leader who loves helping others grow in their love relationship with Jesus. Her stories have been published for over 35 years and are a source of inspiration worldwide.

Her first book, Tire Tracks, won the 2023 Ames Award for nonfiction. This award is given for literary excellence in a book that exemplifies courageous faith. Her second book, Discover Your Great Adventure, will be available on Amazon in early June 2025. It has already won Honorable Mention awards in two national competitions.

She knows what it is like to struggle with doubts and despair, and to wonder if God hears. Her book describes how over the years Jesus has proven there’s nothing too big for Him to handle and nothing too small for Him to care about.

Nancy grew up in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York. Her greatest adventures back then were digging tunnels through winter snowdrifts and playing badminton in the street. Little did she know the exciting escapades that lay ahead after she asked Jesus into her life.

Nancy lived overseas for ten years and has traveled to 31 countries. She has seen penguins in Africa, danced with locals in Turkey, and was kissed by a camel in Israel. But her most meaningful adventure has been knowing the God of the universe and seeing Him do amazing things only He could do. Helping others to be transformed by Jesus never loses its wonder.

She and Peter have been married for almost 46 years and reside in Orlando, Florida. They have four grown children and seven grandchildren. A day with any of them is a good day!

Nancy loves traveling, deep conversations, anything creative, bike riding, Jazzercise, gardening, and walking and talking with her husband or friends.

My Invitation to You

Will you come walk alongside me on my faith journey?

As I pushed forward through the seemingly endless details required to prepare a book these books for printing. I was thinking about and praying for you. I knew Jesus must have at least one special message for you, or He wouldn’t be asking me to publish them.

You, my friend, are a big part of the reason I kept going! You are still on my heart and in my prayers, even after I have launched these books into the world. I hope this collection meets you where you are and inspires you to seek and trust the totally trustworthy God. I pray that you will discover the incredible adventure that is found when we trust Jesus and follow Him where He leads.

Please feel free to write to me, so I can get to know you as much as you will know me after you finish reading Tire Tracks and Discover Your Great Adventure!

More from me on my spiritual journey

What if I had known?

What if I had known?

Would I have published two books if I had known? These statistics I came across last week were thought-provoking.             Only 3% of those who start writing a book finish it.             Of those 3% who finish writing their book, only 20%  will actually publish...
